OUR PASTOR
I grew up in a preacher's home and never knew a life apart from being in the Lord's
house. At the age of seven years the Lord called me to salvation and I placed my
faith and trust in Jesus Christ after a Monday night devotional in our home. I
followed the Lord's example in baptism and joined my local New Testament church.
I always wanted to serve the Lord but being a pastor was not the role I had in mind.
I married the love of my life in 2005 and started a remodeling business with my
family in 2007 and began working toward building a life as a self-employed builder.
Contrary to the life I have imagined for myself, the Lord called me to be a pastor in
2009. Since answering the Lord's call I have endeavored to do my best to follow where the Lord leads. I attended Texas Baptist Institute and Seminary part-time from 2009 -2015 earning a Bachelor's degree in Theology. I pastored Dunnigan Missionary Baptist Church near Shelbyville TX for 3 years, and then the Lord led me and my family to Roquemore. We have been serving the Lord here for a little over 10 years and God has greatly blessed. I have been blessed with my wonderful wife Kathryn who has been by my side working faithfully from the start. Over the years the Lord has blessed my wife and I with nine children who are the light of our lives. I'm thankful for this wonderful privilege that God has given me to pastor here, and I pray that God will continue to bless the work here at Roquemore MBC.
